Associate Professor Laurent Billot MSc MRes AStat is a senior biostatistician with more than 15 years of experience in medical research. He is currently Principal Research Fellow at the University of Sydney and Director of the Statistics Division at the George Institute for Global Health. His research focuses on biostatistics and their application to the design and analysis of clinical trials and health service evaluations. He led the quantitative evaluation of NSW Health’s Chronic Disease Management Program and co-authored the “Technical guide for outcomes measurement” for the office of social impact investment. He currently acts as an advisor for the Ministry of Health and Treasury around the development of measurement frameworks for social impact investments proposals.
