Alanna Treadwell is the Manager of Evaluation at The Benevolent Society, Australia’s first and oldest charity. Alanna is an experienced evaluator and social researcher, with over a decade conducting research and evaluation in government, NGO, and commercial sectors. Alanna is passionate about understanding what works and exploring innovative methods to measure impact.
In her current role, Alanna supports the design and implementation of outcome measurement frameworks and performance monitoring systems for child welfare/protection, ageing and disability programs and services. Most recently, Alanna project managed the internal evaluation arm of the Resilient Families Social Benefit Bond. Resilient Families is one of Australia’s first Social Benefit Bonds focused on preventing at-risk children entering out-of-home care (OOHC). In 2018, The Benevolent Society Social Benefit Bond became the first Social Benefit Bond in Australia to reach maturity.
